• Great Location, But Filthy and Poorly Maintained – Needs Serious Cleaning

  This property was filthy. While the location was nice and the walk to the beach was doable, the entire place needs a deep clean. The floors were sticky and hadn’t been mopped in some time. The rugs were covered in pet urine and smelled terrible. We had to put a sheet down on the couch to even be able to sit there, and there were toys left underneath I guess from the prior guests. The linens had hairs on them. The fridge hadn’t been wiped inside and there was residue from something that leaked prior to us getting there. The front screen door is broken and would open and squeak all night. The AC unit in the place cannot keep up, especially during the day when the sun hits it. There were dead bugs in both bathrooms. The patio hadn’t been hosed down or even wiped clean to be able to sit outside and enjoy and there were a bunch of wasp nests under the roof outside. While the pool is close by, it’s encased by foliage so the mosquitos were very bad. We had an infant with us and if our trip was going to be more than 2 nights, I would have requested different accommodations. The past few reviews have mentioned similar things about cleanliness, I strongly urge the owner to invest in a deep cleaning service to make this place enjoyable for the rest of the season. Or just make sure that your regular cleaners are actually cleaning things. And maybe get rid of the rugs if it is going to be pet friendly. The place looks beautiful upon first glance and definitely has potential.

  The condo and stay was great. There's tons of space in the living room and kitchen and the deck is large. The location is great and the walk or drive to the beach was super easy and short. It felt like the air conditioning had a little bit of a hard time cooling when the sun was out in the afternoon and the vents in the bedrooms are partially covered by the closet barn doors. It wasn't that hot during our stay so it wasn't a problem for us though. There was flooding on the walkway from the front door to the parking lot when we had some really heavy rain. We had to take off our shoes and wade through inches of water to get to the car a couple of times. Kind of of a pain but it seemed to drain fairly quickly. Overall, we had a great time!

  Both bedrooms did not have a ceiling fan. The floor fan in the master room was broken. The blinds coming into the front door were broken on one side. No hand soap in the kitchen. It looks like they refilled the bottle with water. The back patio table was broken on the bottom and nasty no one cleaned it off.

• Poorly maintained

  Dirty. Immediately had to was bathroom rug, it was covered in black footprints, baseboards covered in dust & dirt. There were multiple dirty coffee cups put back into cabinets. But most of all the beds were extremely uncomfortable with flat pillows. The only extra pillow in master smelled like urine and was extremely stained. No extra linens even if I wanted to use. The plastic cover on the mattress makes for a noisy and uncomfortable sleep. The sheets on the beds were cheap and fit poorly.

  While most of the unit had been upgraded it still needs updating but the uncleanliness and horrible beds truly made this stay very uncomfortable.

• Early Vacation

  The location of the condo is great. We loved the openess of the floor plan and that out the patio door there was enough space for our dog to take care of her business without people or another condo sitting there. The temps later on the week were in the lower 90's and the A/C couldn't keep temp but the condo does have a lot of sun exposure so that can be expected. The closeness to the pool and beach access was great. The only negative for us was the same as some others have had, cleanliness. The company that cleans the condo does a very poor job. The floors were so dirty when we arrived that the bottom of your feet were black if you walked across them barefoot. We did vaccum when we arrived but it really needed to be mopped, but we didn't see any cleaning solution for the floors. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again.
