  Really liked the house. Didn't realize it was in a gated community. Easy to find. The QR codes to enter the gate was the only issue, couldn't get them to work. The house suited our needs perfectly

• Would not go again

  1) Trouble checking in with key card. Our key card did not work and we had to drive all the way back to where we originally got it. 2) The road that the house was on was a complete sheet of ice. For the amount of the rental and the community fees, you’d think it would be easily accessible. 3) The house was not as clean as you’d expect an Vrbo to be. 4) Only 1 small burner on the stove worked. Hard to cook food. 5) The hot tub/pool has some black areas around the nozzles and was not as expected. 6) 1 small tv in the whole house7) stains on the floors and the mattress. Overall, fairly run down and outdated. Would not recommend unless a severe upgrade is made.

  Hi Kylee, we want our guests to have a seamless and enjoyable stay, so we appreciate your feedback. We’ve taken care of the following:
  - We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with key card issues and icy roads. The gated community manages key card access, and while they do an excellent job plowing and salting, severe ice storms can cause delays. We keep salt at the home for guests to use as needed.
  - We’re sorry the home wasn’t as clean as expected. We’ve switched to a new cleaning service, repainted the interior, and replaced all linens. A burner on the stove is on order and will be replaced soon.
  - We didn’t find black marks during a recent inspection, but we’ll take another look. The home features a TV, the largest size that fits the space.
  - The kitchen has been reorganized, a closet door tracking system was replaced, and we’ll double-check for any staining.

• nice house. great hot tub. needs maintenance.

  house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. fairly clean but could be better. found an empty food wrapper in the bedroom and empty cups and a bottle left in the back yard. hot tub was great, but some of the jets were not working, which would lead into the fact that the house is in need of overall maintenance. the felt on the pool table was ripped (but playable) we went down to the clubhouse and played a few games there and those tables were beautiful, and we had the room to ourselves which was nice.

  the closet doors in the game room are off the tracks and a window in the hot tub area was completely jacked up and couldn't be closed. we left the owner a message so he would know that we were not responsible. he acknowledged the issues but didn't seem too concerned about it. had bicycles to use if you wanted. nice, fairly private, back porch was relaxing. we had a good trip but it's a shame that a really nice vacation home could be much better with a little work done on it.

• Great location-property needs some upkeep

  We enjoyed the community and location but the property itself was not very clean and had several maintenance issues. Several outlets and switches did not appear to work, the ceiling fans in the bedrooms did not work. Half the jets in the pool did not work. The whirlpool jets in the tub did not work. The bedding and towels were clean, but it seemed that was the extent of the cleaning that was done.
