The good:
-Great location! I loved the morning walks around the lake, taking my dog to the nearby park. The lake is beautiful; rented canoes, used the pool, etc.
-This house allows dogs, so that was great. Not many good looking houses in the area permitted pets.
The bad:
-Like many of the houses in the poconos, the house very musty when you walk in. Initially that was very disappointing, but once you run the provided dehumidifiers non-stop and air things out, it gets a lot better.
-The "grounds" were not ready to be rented. There were inches of leaves everywhere, sticks all over the entry entry deck. The house definitely needed a good powerwash.
-Only a keurig machine is provded to make coffee. The keurig had water in it and was VERY moldy - no thank you. So we had to buy coffee each morning and wasted money buying pods before realizing i couldn't use the keurig. No brush or sponge or anything provided to clean dishes, so cleaning the keurig was not an option.
-Huge gaps in the door frame let a lot of bugs in.
-A few other issues like the internet code not provided (a quick text to the listing manager resolved that), only 4 towels provided for 3 days...little things.
All in all, my family had a good time and i can't knock the place down a full star for the minor issues i noted above.
