• Good house but OK Kitchen

  The house itself was really good. Spacious accommodating for a large group. The owners communication leading up to our stay was OK. There were some emails that went unanswered. However, we did encounter a broken bed which they responded to very quickly and had fixed within a couple of hours.The only real disappointment was the kitchen. While there were two kitchens with stove and oven and fridge, etc., it was sorely lacking in pots and pans, serving dishes and utensils, and other basic kitchen items beyond dishes and flatware. This is not a good house if you plan to stay in and cook.

  - The kitchen is stocked with a variety of pots, pans, and essential cookware, including new pots purchased less than three months ago. We understand that guests may have specific cooking needs, and we encourage them to bring any specialty items they require.
  - We strive to be as responsive as possible and made several attempts to communicate before and during your stay. While we do our best to answer messages promptly, there may be delays during late-night hours. We also offer text communication for quicker responses, though this option was not utilized.

  Overall the stay and weekend was fantastic! The house was beautiful and spacious enough for our family of 9. So big we didn’t even use the upstairs living room/kitchen. The kids loved the game room! And given we came on the weekend if snowed and 9 degree temps the rooms and house was warm enough thoughout the day and night! No need to pack essentials as everything is there. If you do need something it is a 30 minute drive to the nearest Walmart. Overall looking forward to coming back again soon!

• Outer Drive

  The check in process was fast and simple. Once we got to the house, as soon as we walked in we immediately noticed the walls were smudged and looked dirty. We overlooked that until we saw most of the walls had smudges on them. The house had either previously been pet friendly and/or the carpet or furniture had been pet friendly. The dishwasher arm was melted and unable to be used. A lot of the baseboard heaters looks dented and rusted. The upstairs oven did not work. The matresses were so loud and would make a crunchy noise while rolling over. Overall, we did not enjoy this house for our family vacation. work-
