The layout of this home is cozy for a family and the location/property is great. Some basics were lacking and descriptions were inaccurate, though. The queen beds were actually doubles, and all beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen did not have any kitchen towels and the dish sponge was used, many of the dishes were dirty. In the bathrooms, there were no hand towels, only thin linen napkins. The water in the home was orange (rusty pipes?) and we had no warning about this. No matter how long we ran the water, the water in the baths and showers would turn a dark orange/brown color. Many of the spices in the pantry were expired by nearly 10 years (not expecting these things, but they should be thrown out so someone doesn’t unknowingly use them). Overall, the home was okay but could use some refreshing. Until then, the cost was very high for what was provided.

Hi Alyssa, we’re sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. After reviewing your feedback, we reached out to the homeowner, who wanted to share the following:
-A complete set of sponges, along with all necessary cleaning supplies, is provided in the box under the sink to ensure guest convenience during your stay.
-Two new, unused kitchen towels are available in one of the side kitchen drawers, along with a roll of paper towels to enhance guest comfort.
-The downstairs beds are full-sized, chosen for comfort and to meet the needs of our guests. If they didn’t meet your expectations, we wish you had informed us during your stay so we could address it promptly.
-Regarding the spices, we apologize for any inconvenience. The outdated ones have been discarded, and we’ve replenished the supply to better serve future guests.
-The property uses a well water filtration system, which we understand may not meet all preferences. We are in discussions with the water company and planning an upgrade as part of our improvement efforts.
Thank you for your feedback; it helps us improve. We hope to provide you with an even better experience in the future.
Never stay there.. Paid Way Too much for Old.. Smelly.. Yellow/Pale color water.. Gas heater.. 1900s Thermostat.. Creaking wood floor.. creepy dolls.. only good thing is Natural lighting from the ceiling.

Hi Sherab, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the home didn’t meet your expectations.
- House Features: The thermostat and heating system are fully functional, and the natural wood floors are newer, though they may creak slightly.
- Water Quality: The home uses filtered well water, and we provide bottled water for drinking.
- Décor & Amenities: The dolls and toys are for families with children, and many guests enjoy the home’s unique charm and natural lighting.
We’ll continue working to improve our guest experience. Thank you for staying with us.
The house was just the right size for our family of five. The bedrooms were big and the beds were pretty comfy. The kids like the backyard with the trampoline.
The only thing I would say is be aware when you take a bath or shower to let the water run for a while because the pipes make the water yellow until it cleans them out.
Also, the clubhouse is $20 a person per day so it’s a little expensive to use for a family. It would be nice if there were guest passes to use.

This is a lovely rustic home with 4 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and nice outdoor space. We came for a ski weekend and it was quite cold out. Camelback is 15-20 minutes away. The living room is very large and did not heat up very well but the bedrooms have thermostats and they can get very warm. There is a fireplace but be prepared to bring your own wood and fire starter. It’s probably nice for a summer getaway.
The Property was beautiful.!! Me and my family n’joy ourselves very much.. Wish our stay could have been longer. I would highly recommend!
