• Comfortable but location is misleading...

  The house is quaint and has all that you need for a short stay. The house is located near many good restaurants and attractions, and we enjoyed short trips out for meals and shopping. Our main complaint is that the pictures make the house appear to be rurally located with lots of green space around it. However, the house is located directly on a major thoroughfare, with very loud traffic, which was especially problematic when trying to sleep. While there is a large backyard, there is no outdoor seating area or way to enjoy the outdoors. The front porch is useless because it is only feet away from the noisy road. Would have been nice to have a patio or porch to enjoy the perfect weather we had!

  Regarding your comment about outdoor noise, we typically receive positive feedback about the peacefulness of the area, especially during this beautiful time of year. This section of Lancaster does have a bit of traffic. However, most guests find the front porch and outdoor areas a great place to relax and catch up. Occasional sounds from local traffic or passing buggies are part of the area’s charm. We understand that experiences can vary, but we’ve personally spent time here and found the environment to be quite tranquil.

  Clean and convenient to all activities we needed to do in the Lancaster area. The owner was informative on all details of use of the home. Air conditioning cooled the house quickly on the hot days we were there. It was perfect for us. We even cooked a really nice meal one evening and had everything we needed. Thank you. We recommend staying and would stay there again.

  Nice stay. It's a old home well maintained. If you appreciate the Amish scenery, this place is for you. The home owners are very nice. Hershey's park only 30 minutes.
