The home was very nice. The code was not set upon our arrival. We were told the key was in a lock box on the porch; we couldn’t get it open with the code given. Had to wait in our car to stay warm while we attempted getting a hold of the owner. Finally called back and programmed the keypad on the door. Get inside and heat wasn’t on. The next day the power kept going out because it couldn’t handle the 2-zones being on at the same time. Handyman came out and changed a filter but in order to keep 1st floor heat on, had to keep 2nd floor zone off. These types of problems should be taken care of before you rent a property out. Especially in a freezing cold January!

Hi Rita, we’re glad to hear that you thought the home was nice. We want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We provide a welcome guide and welcome email, and both state; the code is programmed for the keypad on the door. The lockbox is for emergency purposes only.
- Regarding the heat mishap, we were so very apologetic about this as it was out of our control, and the first time this had ever happened. We sent the handymen out immediately to remedy the issue. We also tried to find another rental in the neighborhood through Evolve, but nothing was available. We understand it didn't make for an easy stay, but please know we did all we could within our power to remedy and were in constant contact with you regarding this issue. We expressed our deepest apologies at each moment.
We hope to have you again in our home, and thank you again for your stay. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
