  House was in a great neighborhood close to a few nice restaurants and Split Rock resort. Our friends connected to go golfing in the area (Jack Frost), while the weather didn’t workout for golf we were able to go bowling and get a nice meal in town. Cozy house, Communication 10/10

• Great place and host

  The host was great and the place was wonderful as well. It was well lit and well heated and super clean. The location was great as well. The pool table was a bit of a letdown but everything else was great, the tv, games, everything was more than we could ask for.

• Good stay, not great

  The house was really nice. The driveway, back porch and steps were covered with thick ice. Kind of unsafe but we got what we needed to stay safe. The beds were too small for couples which is the group we had. After reading all the instructions about the pool table I was expecting a top notch table. Visitors before us definitely ruined the pool table. We had a good time but some touch ups are needed if spending top dollar. Thanks,

  Hi Rowland, the right vacation home is everything, and we're glad you found the house nice overall. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  – The Poconos recently experienced an extended period of extreme cold, making it challenging to fully clear the ice—especially on the deck, where low temperatures prevent melting. Salt isn’t effective in these conditions, so the driveway was treated with cinders to improve traction.
  – We offer three queen beds, a full-size bottom bunk with a twin top bunk, and two twin beds that can be placed side by side if needed. The listing accurately reflects the sleeping arrangements through the description and professional photos, allowing guests to plan accordingly.
  – We reinforced the pool table after previous guest damage and are exploring replacement options for future upgrades. We continually update the home, with recent additions including new TVs, flooring, doors, a dishwasher, and a second-floor couch to enhance guest comfort.
