  The seven of us had a great weekend stay here; the place was perfect for the group! It's a nice location (both for 'getting there' and just taking a walk around), and the building/amenities were very nice. Definitely a place we'll look into in the future!

• Cozy Cabin

  Communication was great before and throughout the trip. All our needs and questions were quickly handled. The house has a great winter cabin feel with classic entertainment that the children loved.

  We had a great experience, we really enjoy the property it was amazing , watched movies on Christmas day , play with my kids , we definitely will come back

• Disappointing Cleanliness Overshadows Cozy Cabin Experience

  The cabin itself was charming, and offered a peaceful retreat with plenty of amenities to enjoy. As many other reviews, I confirm that it could have more towels and definitely some more wine glasses. There is still a lot of potential. The location was good, with various of activities and nature spots nearby.

  However, there were definitely some issues with cleanliness that left a bit to be desired. Spiderwebs were noticeable inside the cabin, and the deck was scattered with leaves that hadn’t been cleared for multiple days (if not weeks). It took me one hour to clean the deck as there was only 1 small broom available. The most concerning part was finding some mice droppings in the kitchen area, which really made us question the upkeep of the space.

  Given these cleanliness issues, charging a cleaning fee felt unreasonable.

  Friendly hosts made sure to give us plenty of reminders about the house rules, however forgot about their own responsibilities.

  We’re sorry to hear that cleanliness did not meet your expectations. While the cabin is professionally cleaned prior to every stay, the property is in a natural setting, and leaves or spiderwebs can appear quickly despite our efforts. We will review our maintenance procedures to ensure the outdoor areas, like the deck, are better prepared for our guests’ enjoyment.
  
  We want to clarify that during your stay, we reached out to you to understand your concerns - we learned the time you would need to clean the deck was one hour. A reference to leaving a review to express dissatisfaction was made during the call. We sincerely tried to address your concerns in real-time, as we want every guest to feel comfortable and cared for. Unfortunately, we were not notified of the other issues encountered during your stay which, had we known, would have allowed us to assist more promptly.
  
  Regarding the mice droppings, we take this matter seriously and have already performed additional inspections and pest control management to address it thoroughly
  
  Lastly, we did note that the Skee-Ball game was damaged after your departure, which had not been reported during your stay. We kindly remind guests during pre-arrival communications to report any issues so we can address them immediately.
  
  We value your input and will use your feedback to improve. We hope you enjoyed the surrounding area and activities and appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

• Great firepit

  Our stay was fine but the house was a bit small for 5 adults and two children. Very nice deck and firepit. I got way too many emails about rules and such, and the required phone call with the owner was over the top in my opinion.
