3/5 The location is excellent, except for the road noise on the East side of the property. The furniture needs to be updated (i.e., the living room sofa is very uncomfortable and the sofa bed is terrible). The master bedroom sheets do not fit and do not stay on the mattress (very annoying). The kitchen is not well appointed; there are few dishes, no mixing bowls, incomplete sets of measuring cups, no measuring spoons, no colander, etc. The place was not clean -- baseboards were dirty, kitchen cabinets not clean, refrigerator not clean. I had to clean it myself.

- The property is located along Historic Hwy 101, so some road noise can be expected as a trade for such a great beachfront location. To help, sleep sound machines and blackout sound shades are provided in all highway-facing bedrooms.
- The homeowner has noted your comments about the living room furniture and master bedroom sheets and will take them into consideration for future improvements.
- The cottages are stocked with kitchen essentials like measuring cups and spoons, mixing bowls, a colander, and ample dishware. If anything was missing during your stay, the onsite staff would have been happy to deliver replacements the same day if contacted.
- The unit was thoroughly cleaned before arrival. For extended stays like yours, the team can provide weekly cleaning for a modest fee, but they do rely on communication from guests to arrange this.
