  Carol and Billy are amazing hosts!!! They have made a retreat in this beautiful secluded property. The amenities have spoiled us to stay at future VRBO’s!! They have everything you could possibly want/need and more that you never knew you needed!! This place and these people are 5 star!!! More than that if there was a higher rating. If you get an opportunity to book this diamond place, don’t miss your opportunity….the secret is getting out and people are loving this beautiful place. We will return!!!!

• Idyllic Oasis of Calm

  Billy and Carol (and their family) are wonderful people who graciously share their beautiful home and property with visitors. The location is perfect; quiet and peaceful yet close to shopping and activities. The space is creatively/artistically furnished and ultra well-stocked with all the comforts of your own home (plus more!). Clean and comfortable...it was very tough to leave.

• Perfect Relaxing Getaway

  This property is cute, comfy, homey, relaxing and tucked away for privacy, while being close enough to pop into the hub of the city. The hot tub is a bonus- very clean. Comfy couches and throws on the deck to enjoy your morning cup of joe. Well stocked with anything and everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. Carol and Bill are excellent hosts!

  The two bedrooms were very beautiful, beds were comfortable and the Owls Nest was very well stocked up with light eating snacks which is a rarity. The hosts Bob and Carol Fox were available to help us out It was a very relaxing stay.

• Amazing place on the outskirts of Portland

  This was an amazing experience. Everything promoted on the website was true. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots/pans/utensils. There were many spices in the cabinet and some condiments in the fridge. The owners are on the premises, upstairs. We saw Billy on two separate occasions, but it was not intrusive.

  The hot tub was amazing! There were darts, cornhole/bags, even laser guns to play in the yard. The yard was so peaceful. We enjoyed the tree hammock swings.

  The owners thought of many extras. They provided 4 white robes for our hot tub experience, plenty of towels, lots of extra blankets, even laundry detergent & dryer sheets for our own laundry, and a steamer for clothes! They had some granola bars for hiking snacks and bagels & cream cheese in the fridge. I felt that they went above and beyond most rental places. I highly recommend the Owl's Nest for future rentals.
