Nice home in a great location!
4/5 We enjoyed our stay at this property in Gold Beach. House was clean and well appointed. Nice living space and kitchen. Great location for beach activities. We went on a guided salmon fishing trip on the lower Rogue River and caught two big fish! I'm leaving a four-star rating because we're used to sleeping on firm mattresses and all three beds had soft ones, especially in the master bedroom. If you prefer or need a firm mattress this might not be the rental for you, but otherwise it's a great property. Also, communication with the host, Beverly, was very good.
House in need of maintenance
3/5 The house is in a good location, but needs maintenance. Examples: the front deck sliding screen door is highly corroded and the inside handle is missing, leaving sharp rusty metal exposed. The front decking exhibits dryrot and at least one of the boards dips when walked on.There is a propane BBQ on the back deck, but it was absolutely filthy which rendered it unusable.
