• Okay-ish house

  This house was not very clean at all. I have pictures that shoed dog hair on items in the kitchen, the dishes were dirty in the cabinets and we found dog toys and dog poop in the house. The house clearly states NO DOGS. The air conditioner kept freezing up on us too. We were under the impression the house was on the actual lake, it's not. It is about a block from it and a major hike up and down stairs. I talked to the cleaning lady, who said the owners offered to refund some of our money and they never did.

  *I will say, I accidentally left my wedding ring in a drawer and the cleaning service went to the house and got it and mailed it to me. Very honest lady I will say that. That's not to say I wouldn't stay there again only because it was big enough to fit my herd of a family at a great price. We had a blast at the lake.

  We enjoyed our stay. There are some repair items needed. The wooden chairs are coming apart and could cause an accident. They need repair or replaced. Light bulb in front bedroom is burned out. Electrical outlets in both bathrooms did not work so we could not use our hair dryers. Overall, it was a good stay and with the needed repairs we would stay there again.

• Not what we expected. Misleading

  Ants were everywhere from the bathroom floor to covers on bed. Yard wasn’t mowed. Dock access was misleading.

• Clean and Comfortable

  Our family really enjoyed staying in this home. The layout was nice and the home was very clean and uncluttered. It was only about a 1 minute walk to the shared boat dock in a quiet cove. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We also liked the close proximity to Grove and Wolf Creek boat ramp. We will definitely stay here again.
