  • Nice stay - some minor issues -- - - -

    My wife & I rent a lot of STR's (VRBO, AirBnB, Evolve, etc.) - one thing we are starting to generally notice - while the cabin/house is relatively well maintained, the provisioning & cleaning for each stay is slipping. For example, not unique to this stay - but - 3 Keurig pods for 3 days for 3 people (really?), no sugar in the pantry, towels in the front bedroom smelled moldy and unclean (had to wash them first) and the carpet runners could use a cleaning. Again - this is a general trend and NOT unique to this rental.

    All that said, the location was great and quiet - back from the road. This is the first time we've stayed on the East side of the highway and we would do it again - it's so much less congested than the West side. The fire pit was great as was the hot tub.

    And, finally, would we stay here again - absolutely!

  • Beautiful Place

    Me and some friend decided to stay here at the Hocha Hideaway and it was perfect. Beautiful house with an awesome back deck and neat fireplace area. Super quiet and peaceful. I think our entire group wants to reserve the same place for next years trip. The house is also at the very end of the road and hidden out of view which we loved. And it was less than 10 minutes to just about anywhere to eat or activities to do. Definitely want to return next year. The owner and the cleaning staff were also incredibly kind anytime we interacted with them. 5 star recommend.
