HOLMES WITH A HALF A VIEW
4/5 WE HAVE BEEN GOING TO HOMES WITH A VIEW FOR ALMOST 20 YRS. OUR FAVORITE UNIT IS # 2. WE HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE VIEW FROM THE WINDOWS. HOWEVER, WHEN WE ARRIVED THIS SPRING, MY FAVORITE WINDOW TO SIT & LOOK OUT AT THE ROLLING HILLS OF FIELDS & THE DIFFERENT LIVE STOCK OF HORSES, STEER, COWS & OTHER FARM ANIMALS, WAS BLOCKED BY A HOT TUB THAT OBSCURED THE WONDERFUL VIEW I HAD BECOME ACCUSTOMED TO OVER THE YEARS. SO IN ORDER TO LOOK OVER THE HILLSIDE IT WOULD REQUIRE SITTING AT THE KITCHEN TABLE ALL DAY INSTEAD OF A NICE COMFORMY CHAIR. PLUS ADDING THE HOT TUB WITH A PORCH ROOF, TOOK AWAY SOME OF THE NATURAL LIGHTING THAT WAS ENJOYED IN THE UNIT.
Needs help
3/5 The property looks nice on the outside but there are issues that can’t be seen in photos. The walkway to the hot tub was unstable in sections, the railing was not installed to be safe (wobbly), the water was unpredictable, the noise from the person in the Yert above us was unsettling. Running the dishwasher at 11pm when we had an early morning the next day was unkind plus the banging was so loud we didn’t know if it was normal or if we should check on them. I will not say in this establishment again. Definitely NOT worth the price!
