Great stay in Apple Valley
5/5 We loved the house, the neighborhood, and the easy access to local activities. The local streets were great for morning walks, the nearby Kokosing Gap Trail offered a terrific place for walking/running/cycling, and the Knox County Parks (Honey Run, Wolf Run) were awesome for wooded trail hikes. Enjoyed some meals at The Pub, The Howard Hilton, and Mazza during our stay in the area. Nearby golf at Apple Valley, Vernon View, and Irish Hills was accessible and inviting.
Bald Eagles Nest
4/5 Nice home away from home for a long weekend. Friendly neighborhood. We seen deer almost everyday in this property. Very peaceful to sit on the deck and listen to the birds. It was less than an hour drive to Holmes County and about an hour to Columbus. Mt. Vernon had plenty to entertain also. We enjoyed the fireworks in Mt. Vernon. Just a little tip, we needed to go to the grocery store to get dish soap and extra toilet paper so if you have a bigger group and are staying more than a couple of days make sure to bring extra.
