  ‘Mary Ann’s Nest is adorable! It is hard to choose my favorite feature of the home. The screened patio provided a very peaceful start to the morning while sipping on a cup of coffee. The house was very well stocked and spotless.

• Home away from Home

  Prior to check in, the communication was great. We received all the details and door code, allowing us to access the home seamlessly, as we arrived late our first evening. We had no need to reach out further to the host, as everything was as the pictures showed and we had no issues that needed addressed. We could just come in, relax and go about our days.

  CLEAN: this home was clean and I could see thought was put into the ammenities, several of which were new. We were traveling with our small children and knowing care was taken to make sure it had been properly cleaned, meant a lot to me. (We have stayed in other rental homes and have not always found this attention to be true.)

  We didn't need too many amenities as we were just a family, tagging along with my husband as he had a few meetings in Columbus. He remarked how easy it was to travel to and from his meetings downtown from this house. The fenced in backyard made me feel very secure and my children safe. The weather took a turn and the finished basement/playroom was wonderful for my kids to relax, unwind and spread out their games and toys they brought along, as well as watching what they wanted on the TV. There was the big bean bag chair that they fell in love with. (They now think we need one.) I could see this space being utilized by "adult children" as well as a man cave or game night. We will definitely have to come back with our friends and no kids.

  We did not have to use the laundry facilities while there, surprising with my kids, but it was so nice to know it was an option. The beds slept well and our kids did fine in their own rooms. Wal-Mart was close and we grabbed a few groceries to tide us over and make a few meals. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed and I loved how open it was to dining and living you, allowing me to keep an eye on my kids. I could see this as a great feature as well for larger families who want to interact.

  I have stayed in several airbnb’s before and this one was perfect for me and my two kids. We wanted a quick getaway without going too far from home, and this was like a home away from home! The area was quiet and enjoyable, I would definitely return for a longer stay!
