Skidmore Graduation Weekend
5/5 We rented this house for my son’s graduation from Skidmore College. Six family members and a dog stayed for the weekend. The place was perfect. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of space (both indoors and outdoors) to relax. Easy check-in and check-out processes, and responsive management. The house is in a quiet neighborhood near walking trails, but amenities are close by. Easy access via back roads to Skidmore campus and SPAC grounds. We would stay here again.

5/5 The house was fantastic- very clean, great amenities and excellent location. A very easy walk to Broadway for dinner and shopping. The property manager was friendly, professional and very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend!

Perfect example of why corporate ownership of rental properties sucks
2/5 Staying at this VRBO perfectly encapsulated why corporate ownership of rental properties is a net negative for visitors.
After making the VRBO reservation, the landlord circulated circulated a completely different messaging platform that was wholly separate from VRBO, making the process of contacting the landlord infinitely more difficult. In my opinion, renters booking through VRBO have a fairly reasonable expectation of being able to communicate with the landlord through the VRBO app. Use of this alternative messaging platform interfered with our use of the keypad to enter and exit the property, and at some point our designated key code abruptly changed.
In addition, the house is very strangely set-up. Although there are two bedrooms upstairs, entry to the bathroom is only accessible through one of the bedrooms. The fire pit was also wholly underwhelming.
All said, negative overall experience at this location.

-The property is family-owned and managed through Evolve to ensure a safe and seamless experience for guests, as noted in the listing.
-We apologize for the confusion with the key code—this issue was specific to your stay, and codes are always updated for guest security.
-While the upstairs bathroom is attached to the master bedroom, guests have access to both that bathroom and a full one downstairs for convenience.
-The fire pit uses propane instead of wood for safety reasons.
