Beautiful Location, but Cleanliness and Prep Need Improvement
4/5 We recently stayed at this property, and while there were positives, there were also significant issues that impacted our stay.The house is spacious, mostly comfortable, and located in a beautiful area with great mountain views. The setting is peaceful, and the property provided a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, it was a nice touch to find some bottled water provided for guests.However, the cleanliness of the property upon our arrival was disappointing. We encountered other visitors' trash, dirty sinks and showers, used towels, and a general lack of proper cleaning. There were also numerous dead flies and live bugs throughout the house, which made it clear the property had not been adequately prepared for our stay.While disappointing, the host company and host contact did work toward remedy via a partial refund of the cleaning fee. It was a bit awkward working through support tiers - VRBO Evolve (property manger) Property contact. Overall, the property has potential due to its location and layout, but better attention to cleanliness and thoughtful guest preparation would greatly improve the experience.
