This cabin has a lot of potential but overall we were disappointed with the cost for what we received. The hope was not clean to standard, food on the cabinets, filthy vents, coffee pot full of moldy water. It was disappointing to feel we had to come in and clean before using anything in the kitchen, including washing all dishes before use. The owner did make it right by providing a partial refund for cleaning.
The hot tub smelled and the cover was broken. There was only one small light that functioned on one of the back patio’s post so their area was essentially useless once the sunset. The light for the back porch didn’t even work which is a huge safety issue going up and down stairs when it’s dark and 0 lighting. This patio would be such a lovely area to spend time if they just invested a little to keep it up. There was also quite a bit of old pet feces in the yard, this should be maintained.
Additionally, they provide very minimal supplies. We had about a half a roll of paper towels and 4 rolls of toilet paper for 10 people and 3 nights. When we requested additional toilet paper and a different coffee pot the guest contact seemed very put off. She eventually brought 3 more rolls but we never received a coffee pot.
Essentially a lot of very minor issues to correct that would make a significant difference in guest being able to enjoy and relax at the cabin.

-The hot tub cover and outdoor lighting have been recurring challenges, but the homeowner has invested in repairs and replacements to improve the experience. They’ve also installed lighting to guide guests to the hot tub area, but they will continue to monitor this to ensure it remains functional for future stays.
-The area is frequented by wildlife, which can contribute to the presence of animal droppings. While the homeowner does their best to maintain the yard, they recognize this can sometimes be an issue. They’re also considering ways to better manage this, especially for guests bringing pets.
-We apologize if the response to your request for additional supplies wasn’t as accommodating as it should have been. The homeowner has reviewed this with the guest contact to ensure that future guests receive a better level of service when requesting essentials.

The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. The bed mattresses could use replacing, other than that wonderful place to stay.
