I will start by explaining the errors in the property listing.
Listing: "Master Bedroom: 2 Full Beds | Bedroom 2: King Bed | Bedroom 3: King Bed"
Should state: Master Bedroom: King Bed (downstairs) | Bedroom 2: King Bed (upstairs) | Bedroom 3: 2 Full Beds Bed (upstairs) - - - Bedrooms 2 & 3 share a restroom
Listing: "You'll first notice the outdoor viewing deck complete with a gas grill, table and chairs, and fire pit."
There is not a fire pit and none of the lighting on the rear deck works.
Listing: "A glass-topped dining table sits next to the fully equipped kitchen."
Not totally honest here because under the Kitchen Equipment section of the listing it states there are Spices and also there is a Stove/Oven. First of all, there are not the typical spices you would expect a "fully equipped kitchen" to have in stock. Secondly, there is not a "Stove/Oven". There is a stove and then there is an Oster toaster oven. So, if you plan to actually bake anything that requires a standard oven, you are out of luck. Also, the glass-topped dining table is not in an ideal location and blocks traffic from the kitchen to the rest of the house when in use. I would consider a "fully equipped kitchen" in the 2020's to include a dishwasher. Well, apparently not to this owner.
Listing: "Easily park your car just outside the home"
This statement is 100% accurate but what is not explained in the listing is that the owner does not allow the renter to use the front doors and requires the renter to use the side door. So, if you have heavy or bulky items, this is a major inconvenience.
Now I will explain the cabin from our experience. When you first walk in and look around, you are greeted by a list of what you cannot do in the cabin. Such as, do not use the front door, do not remove anything from the cabin because it has been accounted for and you will be charged if it is missing, and our favorite, do not put any paper or trash in the toilets because it will clog the septic and if you clog the septic, you will be charged a $500 service fee. Well, that would have been a great piece of knowledge before we made this reservation because one of my guests has Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Imagine each time you have to use the restroom, you then have to take your soiled toilet paper outside and up the street to the dumpster.
Next, the "Central Heating" is anything but a "central" heating system. Unless you consider a system installed where there are strip heaters in each room with their own 1970's thermostats which take 2 days to figure out a comfortable temperature in each room. The wall units provide little to zero help with heating.
Finally, it is apparent the owners do not pay a professional cleaning service to care for the property between renters. Outside, the equipment is filthy and the deck does not look like it has been swept in about a month. Inside, there are cobwebs all over the fixtures and the kitchen table looked like someone had just eaten lunch 10 minutes before we arrived.
It was an alright cabin, it really needs a deep cleaning there was spiderweb all over the walls. Plus there was a deodorant in the middle of the kitchen when we got there. Other than that it was an okay cabin

We had a great stay. Plenty of size to this cabin. Awesome upstairs game room/Movie room. Very old school and outdated, which I loved. But it had streaming devices and a good WiFi connection. Interior house was very clean. Outside, I hate to say was not picked up, which could have been from the current winds. We were looking forward to hanging out near the fire pit but it didn't work. All in all I would stay again. It was worry free and very restful. I myself liked the cabin.

First and Last time staying at this cabin. It was dirty and old...the table cloths under the sink still had food stuck on them from I'm assuming the last use. Pots and pans were old, The Stove was old and dirty as well. The pictures on the website are obviously old because the deck in the back looked brand new in the pictures and that was not the case the paint was worn, the wooden chairs were broken, the fire pit was locked on the side of the house so we couldn't use it. We could not use the Grill either because it had no gas, we couldn't use the fire wood there either. Really no good views other than the front of the cabin you could see the tip of one mountain. The entire house was dated. And if two people were trying to take showers at the same time or if someone was washing dishes one had to use cold water, cold showers are the worst! Towels also looked dirty. I don't know what the purpose of the cleaning fee was because we had to throw away our own trash, wash ,dry and put away the dishes, it's ridiculous. Oh and also be prepared to see notes everywhere that they have everything in their house counted so that we wouldn't take anything (not that anyone would want to).I'm not one to bash someone else's home but I had to on this one because the pictures are not at all what we experienced, the rental company and/ or owners of the property need to update their pictures and stop deceiving people. Very disappointed to say the least.
