  The actual cabin doesn't look like the pictures. There was no a/c and it got really hot especially on the very top floor. In addition, we had to take our garbage to town. The location was excellent and the scenery was nice. I did try to communicate with the host three times and he only responded to the first email.

  - The home is represented as accurately as possible in the listing, with photos that reflect the current layout and furnishings. The homeowner confirmed no changes have been made that would affect the appearance shown online.
  - Most homes in Cloudcroft, including this one, do not have A/C due to the cool mountain climate. Daytime highs average around 80°F, with nighttime temps dropping into the 60s. To help with airflow, the upstairs room has windows for cross-ventilation and a fan, and every room is equipped with ceiling fans.
  - Like all homes in Cloudcroft, this cabin does not have trash pickup service. The town provides several large dumpsters where guests can dispose of their trash. This is standard practice for the area to avoid issues with wildlife.
  - The homeowner shared that they responded to a request after check-out but did not receive any emails related to property concerns during your stay.

  This was a perfect cabin for our family. There was enough space and had everything we needed. We had our space and it was surrounded by beautiful trees. Great stay! :)

• Good location in a quiet area

  The house was adequate. For the price, I would have expected it to be cleaner (dirty: silverware in the drawer, frying pan, coffee maker, dish towel, etc., was dusty, and there was trash around the outside property. The grill was full of grease and dirty.) Aside from that, we had an enjoyable stay. The house was comfortable. The area is quiet with elk visiting the backyard area. There are several areas to relax on the porch/decks outside and the house is close to downtown and hiking trails.
