The duplex cabin was perfect lodging for my husband and I. It was easy to find using MAPS on my iPhone. There was plenty of parking for 3 vehicles if needed. Our side of the duplex had 10-11 steps on the stairs up to the front porch entry level. This is clearly shown in photos on Evolve which we appreciated. The other side of the duplex only had 3 steps so we asked them if we could utilize their steps while we were there. No problem; they kindly said yes. The inside of the cabin was so comfy, we felt right at home. No central heat or A/C or ceiling fans but we took a fan for the bed room for air flow at night and we were fine. There were a couple of large stand up heaters that did the job in the cool of the morning. The living room had a sofa and a loveseat with a big screen tv and Roku. Easy to figure out and use. Also had coffee table and an end table. The kitchen was well stocked. There was a dining room table for 6. The cabin had excellent lighting throughout. The master bedroom on the main floor had a king bed that was very comfy. It also had an in suite bathroom with tub/shower. There was a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed but it was just the 2 of us so we didnt need it. The hallway bath was handy when we were in the living room and it had a small walk in shower. (The hallway bath could also be used by queen bed bedroom occupants if there were any.). There were 3 full size beds upstairs with its own full bath. We used the covered front porch. We didnt use the back deck. There is a huge lot and house across the street from the cabin with lots of trees. But the house is set way back on the lot and you cant even see it. There are neighbors on both sides of the cabin and behind it but it is a quiet neighborhood. The cabin is also close to the main strip with grocery store and restaurants. There were 3 deer in the lot across the street the day we arrived. We also had fun watching the ground squirrels play next door. Patrick, the friendly owner of the house, called us the 2nd day we were there to see if we had everything we needed. There is also a phone number to call if there are any problems or to ask questions. This cabin was perfect for us. We didnt want to leave. It was a great place to go back to after doing daily activities. We will be back to beautiful Angel Fire and the comfy duplex cabin. Many thanks to Patrick and his wife for sharing their cabin!
This place was great for our group of 8. The loft was a great place for the kids, it felt like a giant sleepover. Three full bathrooms was a big deal as well, most this size only have two. The location was great, conveniently right between two shuttle stops, one uphill and one downhill. It's also great that it's a duplex, so you only have one neighbor, unlike most of the condos at Angel Fire. The condo had everything we needed, plus a lot more, including games and puzzles for down time. Patrick was great to deal with, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. This was the best place we have ever stayed at in Angel Fire and we plan to stay here again!

My wife/myself took our OPSU Aggie kids skiing, 2 never been, the others plus a couple other friends found this lovely cabin, we had our private rooms and the boys were loving the dormroom camaraderie again. Will book again if available.
