This cabin was as pictured, and great size for our family of five (3 adult children). The location was very good. Within 2 miles of Angel Fire Resort. Grocery store was less than a mile. Close proximity to walking trails. Set in a wooded area, but still had views of the mountains. The reasons for the low rating was due to a few issues we had upon arrival. First, the TV did not work. The remote looked like it had been eaten by something. We contacted the property manager and he promptly brought us a new universal remote. That still did not fix the issue. We then realized that there was no cord to plug the tv into and outlet. Again, the property manager addressed the issue the next morning. Second issue was when my husband and I went to bed there were no sheets. It was too late to contact the property manager. Sheets were brought the next morning. The last issue was that a rodent had made a nest in the mattress of the pullout couch. My son discovered this when he decided to sleep on it that first night. Whatever had been there was what had eaten the remote. We informed the property manager the next morning and he took care of the issue in the couch within an hour.I definitely would have given this place a higher rating had we not had those few issues.

House was very cozy and clean. The cabin was very quiet and had a beautiful view. Will definitely stay again when in Angel Fire. We enjoyed our stay

We have been coming to Angel Fire for the last 15 years and stayed in a lot of the cabins in the Moreno Valley for a week or two while we escape the Texas heat before school starts up again. This was one of our favorite cabins to stay in so far because of : the wrap around porch, the giant backyard, the proximity to the grocery store, the comfort of the king sized beds, the layout for three separate families to inhabit each section and most importantly the privacy and exclusion of being on top of the hill with a great view of Baldy and the valley below. The only improvements could be made would be the shower (leaks water some) and maybe a firepit. Thanks for the great lodgings and accommodations!

Overall very nice. The third bedroom and laundry downstairs wasn’t ideal due to snow conditions (carrying laundry up and down snow covered stairs). Also, kids (ages 10-11) weren’t brave enough to stay in downstairs bedroom due to it being isolated from upstairs living (only accessible from outside); so we ended up having kids sleeping on the couch. We found ourselves having to wait for hot water in between showers/baths (no tankless water heater). Cabin was clean and we really enjoyed using the wood burning stove. As noted in the listing, definitely needed 4wd vehicles for property access.
