Angel Fire has many activities for all seasons! Thanks to this fantastic vacation getaway, you'll have easy access to them all. During the summer months, make sure to head to the bike park - Angel Fire summer mountain biking is now rated in the top three for the US.

The winter months are just as breathtaking with day and night skiing, snowboarding, tubing, kid sledding and, of course, snow-mobile tours. The ski drop off is located right down the street from the house, making a day on the slopes effortless! Additionally, Angel Fire is just a stone's throw from two other destinations that are big tourist attractions: Red River and Taos.

Take advantage of the public Angel Fire country club, offering all of the amenities your higher-end country clubs have like a pristine 18-hole golf course, tennis, fitness center and pool, spa, fine dining, and a private wine room with storage for 1,800 bottles. The country club is open year-round at an elevation of 8,600 feet with views of Wheeler Peak - the tallest peak in New Mexico.

The Angel Fire Resort also offers zip-lining, scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, cross-country biking, horseback riding tours, hiking trails through the mountains, and ATV/off-roading tours in 4-wheel drive vehicles through miles and miles of well-marked jeep trails. There are also lake and river activities such as rafting, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Other adventures like hot air balloon rides, wine festivals, and much more can be found here too!

  • Location, Location, Location

    We booked the house based on location on the mountain. Location confirmed by VRBO and Evolve directions sent directly to my phone and email. In fact the official "check-in" sent by Evolve asks you to pick which navigation you want to use, Apple, Google, Waz etc. When you click on them, they take you to where we assumed the house was. In fact the house is not even located close to those directions. We did not fully realize it until we attempted to go to the house. Of course once there we had no choice but to accept location and go on with our trip.

    Why does this matter? Well last year my wife tore her ACL skiing and was unable to ski. I picked the spot because it was walking distance to the ski runs up the mountain and she was going to be able to help me get kids on and off the mountain during the day.

    Once home i contacted Evolve and basically they said they sent me the physical address and i should not of relied strictly on their directions sent to my phone and email. I expressly explained i was not trying to get anything for free just some acknowledgment and maybe a credit for future stays. Nothing! It was on me according to Evolve.

    With all that said, the house was amazing. Clean, modern and incredible views. This review is so that anyone else makes sure they are satisfied with the location and verify before you commit. I have rented many homes and have never had location be of any concern.

  • Great vacation home in Angel Fire

    Our family loved this home. Great location - close to Angel Fire but seems remote due to design. Beautiful views from the back patio and hot tub.

    The home is well designed. It’s easy to unload and load as you can park right by the front door (covered parking) with only a step up into the house. Kitchen was well stocked for making basic meals. Three nice bedrooms with their own closets/bathrooms.

    We had our four year old son with us and had a wonderful time! Highly recommend.
