  My husband and I and my son and his wife spent the week before Christmas at this property. It was extremely clean, very nicely decorated and had all the extra amenities one might want. Our Host was a very kind and accommodating man. My son is a disabled veteran (Iraq War), suffers from PTSD and was recently diagnosed with cancer. It has been a very tough year for us. Being able to get away and enjoy nature was a blessing to us. A heartfelt thank you to our Host.

• A Beautiful Log Home

  We have multiple stays at this beautiful custom log home. Just a few of the reasons we have returned are listed in this review.

  #1 Seclusion( but very accessible) and magnificent views from every side of the home. View upon view upon view and a host of sitting options to enjoy them.

  Picnic table, 2 porch swings, outdoor bar stools with table and our favorites the rocking chairs.

  #2 The radiant heated floors are a

  luxury to experience. They keep

  both levels nice and warm. The 4ft wide wood stove with optional open doors and fire screen is great for fire viewing and additional heat.

  #3 Well stocked and clean. Everything we needed, dish and utensil wise was there to accommodate a week long stay.

  #4Comfort and relaxation was probably the best we have experienced in our travels. Furniture and new bed mattresses were top notch.

  We will return again.

• Quaint Location, but needs work

  The property is located out of the way, but it’s fairly easy to get to. The driveway and parking was tight for a truck though. After a day out on the town and golfing it was hard to comeback and relax. The furniture was rather hard and stiff, and the mattress we slept on was old and worn down. The best views are off the front porch, but there wasn’t many options to sit out and enjoy it with.

  - We strive to create a rustic cabin experience, and the great room is furnished with classic pieces like rocking chairs, a large leather chair, and a couch that was recently reupholstered. However, we understand that furniture comfort is subjective and will continue to evaluate options to enhance guest comfort.
  - We appreciate your feedback on the mattress and are currently arranging for a replacement in the master bedroom. Additionally, the front porch is equipped with a log frame porch swing, chairs, and a picnic table, but your suggestion for additional seating has been noted for future improvements.

  This cabin is special. You can tell a lot of thought went into the furniture, decor, and amenities. The location is perfect - in the mountains, but close to town.

• Spring break

  Great stay for myself and husband, daughter and her friend. Pool table was a hit with the teens. Beautiful area. Easy drive to town.

  Only downside is the third bedroom was not used and who ever would have gotten that room would definitely have the short end of the stick. As the room is very small and bed seemed a bit older. The other bedroom downstairs was used by my husband and myself and it sunk in the middle some we noticed. So maybe a new mattress needed. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Loved the layout of home. The master bedroom is right next to pool table so we ended up giving the kids the master.
