• Family vacation

  We really enjoyed this house with our elderly parents. Our 14 th annual family vacation was a success The deck and pool are our happy place and the weather could not have been more perfect. A few little items like tv remote batteries and some very small cleaning opportunities but nothing to take away from our satisfaction.,will definitely consider this property again.

• Ac wasn't working on Friday also ants began taking over

  Air conditioning broke down sometime Friday 8/23 not sure what time exactly as we were out. On return we noticed the house was 79 degrees and upstairs over 80..contacted the property Mgr. Was told she would get someone out..I guess we had a miscommunication as I figured it would be that evening after waiting till 9p.m.I was told no one was coming and I should open the windows...I have 3 very young and active grandchildren and there's no way I'm leaving windows open with no bars and a pool on property.I was asked if I could try and reset the AC I tried nothing worked.I do believe I saved the owner some substantial cost by shutting off the system because the condenser was constantly going but the air handler wasn't.

  - The A/C failure occurred right before your check-out, and a technician was contacted immediately. Unfortunately, the part required for the repair had to be ordered, which caused a delay in getting the system back up and running.
  - We understand the discomfort this caused, especially with young children, and we truly appreciate your efforts in shutting off the system to prevent further damage.
  - We were not aware of an issue with ants but will look into the matter to ensure the property is pest free for future guests.
  Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention, and we truly appreciate your understanding. We hope to have the opportunity to provide a more comfortable experience in the future.

  Excellent place to stay in Wildwood. Owner is super nice and very responsive. Close to grocery stores which was a big plus. Kids enjoyed the pool.

• The forgotten home

  We loved the pictures we saw online but once inside the space, it is clear that this has become a forgotten property, tattered and worn from being a vacation rental. The furniture (sofas) are extremely stained, worn, and broken. The walls need to be painted to hide the many stains and drip marks. The kitchen is poorly stocked with not even enough cups to serve the amount of guests this property says it can comfortably sleep. The shower upstairs has mold around the bottom. There are ants on countertops in the kitchen. In nearly every bedroom there are shelves falling off the walls in the closet, or hooks falling off the wall. There are few hangers provided to even accommodate clothing storage. The thermostats are locked and set to 72 degrees, fans are provided to offer additional cooling if needed. The house itself was clean in terms of floors being swept and dusting, but otherwise this house needs a solid repair and repainting treatment. There are also no full length mirrors and the only two mirrors that are provided are above the bathroom vanities. The positives…toilet paper provided, linens provided, the pool area is nice, good off street parking, and open concept living and dining space.
