  Let me begin my review by saying this.... If the owner deals with a Management company, he should fire them. If he oversees this property, shame on him. We are seasoned travelers both budget & high end and I'll say this -we have stayed in roadside motels that were better set up than this place . The first thing we noticed was there was a 1/4 inch of liquid hand soap in both the kitchen & bath, no bar soap at all. No Shampoo/conditioner at all ( when we called to ask about the absence of them they said they don't supply them however it says they do when you go to book the space.) My wife & I shared this space with our adult son & each bathroom offered only 2 bath towels for a 6 night stay and only 1 hand towel. There were NO washcloths at all ( again when we called about that they said "the cleaning crew did not have wash cloths that matched the towels so they didnt leave any!) No bathmat either so there goes one of my towels already. The shower had no grab bars at all which might make it difficult & dangerous for an elderly person. We thought about using the washing machine to meet our towel need but it was disgustingly filthy itself. The cleaning crew looks like they never wiped down the baseboard molding in the bathroom, they were filthy. The toilet paper roll was at the very end( maybe a 1/4 inch left on the roll & only one more roll under the sink.) The same was true for the paper towels in the kitchen. There were also not a box of tissues to be found anywhere. These are all things that even the most low budget Motel 6 offers in every room ! When we went to boil some water for a cup of tea, the pot i took out of the cupboard had dried tomato sauce crusted on the side of it. He went to use the balcony but we came right back inside because it was covered with mold & mildew. The management should have cleaned that at some point. No way I would let my grandson step out there. I'm no clean freak but this was pretty nasty. The whole place was lit only with harsh overhead lighting. There was one lamp in the lower bedroom & none at all in the upstairs bedroom. Some people like to read in bed & there were no side tables to even put a lamp on even if one was available . A floor lamp in the big living room would have been better than leaving on the bright overhead light. Lamps are Not that expensive. The AC unit was excessively loud & it smelled funky & smoky when we arrived. At this price we expected better. Owner should look into his mangmt Co.

  We were disappointed in this property. It was in a nice area, but the unit offered only the bare minimum that I would find acceptable for a rental. There was no hand soap or hand towels in the bathrooms. Four lightbulbs were burnt out. The shades were broken on two of the bedroom windows. Two of the stools in the kitchen were so wobbly we didn’t feel safe to use them. The clothing rack in the upstairs bedroom was broken. The bathrooms were not as clean as I would like (dusty baseboards, slightly grimy fixtures). The sheets were super cheap polyester. Also, just a note for future renters, there is a long steep staircase up to the door and we had an older person in our party who had a bit of a hard time with the climb. Not good for anyone with mobility limitations.

  From booking through our stay, this property left much to be desired. First, because it is run by a property managing company, there was no way to contact anyone BEFORE booking to ask any questions. I took a shot anyway because the price was really reasonable and the description seemed to have everything that our family needed for a three night stay close to Mountain Creek. It was not ski on/ski off, but I knew that going in, the drive to the lodge was as described--not bad.I emailed our "contact" the day before to confirm that the condo had linens and a washer and drier--yes this was listed, but we have encountered misleading descriptions before, so I just wanted to double check. I did not receive any response.We reached the condo later than anticipated, and without the door being lit it was a little challenging to figure out which one was ours. Once there, the keyless entry did not work. Again, I tried to call our contact and did not get an answer. I did get an answer right away when I called the managing company and they gave me what seemed to be the code from the previous person's stay. From a security standpoint, this did not fill me with warm and fuzzies. Once we got into the condo, it was modestly appointed, warm, and clean enough. However, there was no welcome letter with a wifi password. We had to call for that. No laundry detergent was left for us, and only 1 dishwashing pod was left. When we checked out, the dishwasher would not turn on.
