  • A bit disappointing

    Great location. However

    No soap shampoo conditioner or hair dryer

    No beach towels

    Cheap bath towels

    Very uncomfortable pull out

    Fridge made noise all night long

    Would not stay here again

As is standard in the vacation rental industry, the owner provides a starter amount of essentials, and once that amount is out, it's typical for the guest to purchase more supplies. We do offer guests a blow dryer, however, we don't include beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, or bath soap. While we try to accommodate all our guests' needs, we're sorry the complimentary supplies didn't meet your preferences. We wish you had reached out to us during your stay with your concerns. We would've been more than happy to resolve your concerns and make your stay more comfortable.”

  • Disappointing Stay

    This was my second time staying at this complex, but the first at this unit. Unfortunately, the unit we rented previously was unavailable. Upon arrival, there was a substantial amount of kitchen garbage left under the sink. I contacted the owner re the trash. The pots and pans were in bad shape, and there was no kitchen garbage can, just a Home Depot bucket with no garbage bags provided. took the garbage out every day so we didn’t get bugs…. Also,you do not have the use of a grill with this unit. We were staying for nine days and planned to cook some meals for ourselves. Bring your wine glasses and any other kitchen utensils you assume the unit may provide. The only chairs were 2 plastic chairs we left outside. The sheets didn’t match the mattress size either.

    Besides the above things, the worst part of our experience were the obnoxious owners. They were very hostile toward “renters” and reminded us several times we could not attend their big Labor Day weekend party. Ummmmm ok. A group of owners drank wine and blasted 80s rock every day from 1- 8pm.

    They set up their pool headquarters directly in front of our unit so there was no escape. also told us certain areas on the pool deck were reserved for owners. I confirmed that was not the case.

    This was the opposite experience of our first visit in which we found the owners to be very friendly. Not sure what’s happened in the meantime but I would not stay at the Carousel again.

We have conducted a comprehensive inventory check and have replenished the supplies of utensils, wine glasses, and pans to ensure a more seamless experience for future guests.
    -Moreover, we want to acknowledge that the actions of a few homeowners have unfortunately left a negative impression on our community, and we find this situation entirely unacceptable. We have taken steps to address this issue with the Board, and we have received confirmation that these holiday events should, in fact, be open to guests. Your feedback has been instrumental in helping us identify areas for improvement, and we are fully committed to enhancing our guest experience.

  • Disappointing and over priced.

    I really enjoyed talking to the owner. Very considerate

    but the condo had some issues...

    As far as our condo:

    1- Pots and pans were unusable.

    They were covered with dried on food both inside and

    out. There were 3 cooking utensils.

    2- Advertised as a queen bed, it was a double.The

    sheet sets did not fit either bed or hide-a-bed.

    bed. Bedroom mattress was comfortable but hide-a-

    bed was neither comfortable or sturdy to get into.

    3- The lighting was almost non-existent. The

    bathroom was well lite but nothing else. We brought a

    vanity lamp into the living area but it was still dark.

    forget reading and playing cards.

    4- It was furnished shabby with no chairs except 2 plastic

    ones for inside and out.

    5- We purchased chairs and an umbrella since there

    were none in the closet.

    6- I did not read the contract well enough to know the

    security deposit was non-refundable.

    On the Plus Side:

    1. It had a wonderful pool. We purchased chairs and an

    umbrella since there weren't any.

    2. The beach was very close from the condo.

    3. Property was well lite at night.

    4. Guests were very friendly and kind.

    Hi Roberta, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
    - Thank you for your comments. We appreciate your words and have made some adjustments where needed. Please accept our response as a sincere reflection. 
    - Our pots are brand new and have never been used. However, the seasoned pans have been replaced. Occasionally, some cooking utensils may disappear. We conducted a comprehensive inventory and promptly replaced any items that required attention.
    - In regards to the primary bedroom's queen bed, it features a queen-sized mattress, and is labeled as such. While pull-out mattresses may not offer the same level of comfort as traditional beds to some individuals, rest assured that it is supported by a sturdy metal frame, ensuring stability.
    - The condo offers two ceiling fan lights, two recessed lights, and four lamps. We have increased the bulb wattage in the areas you mentioned.
    - The condo has a pool as one of its amenities, complete with an abundance of tables, table umbrellas, and loungers for guest enjoyment. Please note that we do not have a designated storage area for beach chairs, so guests typically bring their own.
    - Every Evolve booking has a damage protection payment that protects both guests and owners and is non-refundable. We strive to be transparent at every stage of the booking process, so all rates and fees are broken down for travelers before they confirm their reservation.
    We genuinely value all comments and reviews, and we appreciate your thoughtful feedback. Your input helps us continuously improve and ensures that every guest enjoys their stay at our cozy beach getaway that not only meets but exceeds their expectations!

    This complex is great, its across the street the beach. They have their own pool and everyone there is very friendly. The property manager was great to deal with as well.
