  • Great Location

    5/5

This was our 2nd year staying here. Its location is perfect for several reasons…including the proximity to Loon. Love this place cozy and homey yet not overdone. There’s lots of room to spread out, great layout. The first time we stayed I too was disappointed regarding the firewood. However going through the images again you can see it’s located outside of the downstairs sliding glass door. We are planning to return next year.

  • Nice condo for a get away

    5/5

This was a very nice place to stay with a kitchen you can actually cook in, a wood fireplace with accessories to lite a fire and comfortable beds. I'd stay there again.

  • Just ok

    3/5

We won’t book this property again, but it wasn’t terrible. In was generally clean, but certainly not spotless. If you looked under the beds or behind the night stands, it was clear those areas hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Double checking before I left, I looked under the bed to make sure my daughter had t left anything, and there was a lollipop stick stuck to the carpet that had been there a long time.

The water took a while to warm up in the downstairs bathroom, but it was eventually ok. The spigot sticks out from the shower wall, there was a broken GFCI outlet in the upstairs bathroom. Again, not something to demand a refund over, but just enough to make it feel a little off.

My son slept in the loft area, and said it was very hard to sleep because he could hear every noise and see every light in the rest of the place. That’s what a loft is, we took a gamble, but as a head yo to others, that room is probably best for heavy sleepers.

There were ample dishes to do some cooking, tvs in a lot of places with all of the streaming services, access to the pool / hot tub / game room was nice (though those facilities are pretty outdated as well). Parking was good / easy.

That last thing I’ll say is that I know this is the new trend, but forcing your guests to do a list of things that the cleaning fee should cover is ridiculous. Gather all trash and Evie it down the hill, run the dishwasher, unplug a bunch of stuff, turn off the faucets for the washing machine, strip all the beds. And then charge a cleaning fee. This shouldn’t be allowed by AirBNB, VRBO, or anyone else.

Overall it served its purpose and it was clean enough to feel comfortable.
