Great home with pool and sunroom

Nice stay
4/5 We enjoyed our stay but this house needs some serious TLC on the exterior and the pool. The good: The interior was extremely clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of cookware, utensils, dinnerware, mixing bowls, etc. There was plenty of paper products including TP. The coffeemaker is a Keurig single serve and pot combination. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. The house is on a very quiet street. The not so good: The exterior of the house, pool, and backyard itself, could use some serious attention. This property has the potential for a beautiful backyard oasis, but it is lacking. There were ducks swimming in the pool when we arrived which meant feathers and feces. The pool did not look like it had been cleaned two days earlier as the property manager stated in his welcome text. We booked this property because of the pool and we couldn’t enjoy it for two days out of three that we were there. There seemed to be some miscommunication as to what day the pool maintenance people would be there. I can say that the property manager was quick to communicate when contacted which was appreciated. Once the pool was clean, the ducks never came back which reinforced my belief that the pool had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The pool has some rust and desperately needs a new liner. Overall, our stay was really good but I can’t give it a 5-star rating because of the pool. It would have been nice to be compensated for the issue.
