  If you are looking for a place centrally located to all the waterfalls and scenic by ways, look no further! We were within minutes of every thing, including the quaint little town of Brevard. Our family would highly recommend this place for any nature lovers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

  House was spectacular but unfortunately had litter at the bottom of the deck & the stairs leading to the lake. We found a caught mouse in a bathroom cabinet & generally felt like it should've been much more tidy. Still 4/5 stars as the property is amazing.

  We really enjoyed our stay in this pretty house that has everything you can possibly need. Also, it’s situated on a beautiful property looking out on a lovely meadow with the mountains as a backdrop. I would definitely recommend this property

  The property is next to a pretty busy road (trucks), during the day not such a problem, but at night...House, furniture, beds, garage, garden, etc.: all in perfect condition...truly a place where you go and just pack your toothbrush! For enjoying the counties around Transylvania it is a perfect base!

It sounds like road noise was an issue on this stay. We apologize for that. The local traffic-only road, like the towns nearby, tends to be quiet and practically shut down at night. We suspect there was something unusual going on during the time you were there that led to an increase in nighttime truck traffic (there were a couple of major road projects ongoing nearby, which are thankfully complete)."

  Loved the location. Quiet and beautiful. Sheep grazing across the road, scenic mountain view out back, & a very short stroll let us admire the French Broad River.
