Can’t use the basement including 1 bedroom
2/5 The main floor of the house was nice. The basement was uninhabitable and one of the bedrooms is down there. We were disappointed not to be able to use all of the rooms for our family. There is a horrible smell from a water problem in the basement. There are dehumidifiers down there but they did not help. Property contact was very responsive throughout our stay which I appreciated very much.

Hi Stephanie, the right vacation home is everything, and we’re truly sorry this one didn’t meet your expectations. After reviewing your feedback, we followed up with the homeowner, and they wanted to share the following:
-We're glad you found our property contact responsive but wish you had reached out immediately regarding the A/C and odor issues. As soon as we were informed about the A/C issue on the last night of your stay, we addressed it promptly. When the A/C is not set to a high setting, it can cause the dehumidifiers to fill up quickly, which need to be emptied regularly to prevent a mildew odor."
