• Perfect family getaway

  We all loved our stay at Bluebird cottage. It was perfect for our two boys and two fur babies. There was so much attention to detail. So many little extra things to make your stay happy. From couch covers and towels by the door, to dog food bowls for your pets. We loved that the upstairs the boys were separate and could play their own TVs and games when we there. The kitchen was stocked with the necessities and didn’t have to get much. The beds were very comfy and enjoyed lazing around one day when a bad storm hit. The neighbors were super nice and friendly. My 17 year old said it was the best vacation he had been on in awhile which is a huge accolade. I bet this place is awesome in winter with that nice fireplace in the den. Thank you for having us

• Bad Experience

  We had a bad experience with this property and owner. The house was very nice but the amenities such as the community pool, pickleball/tennis courts etc are not close to the house. It was not disclosed in the property advertisement that most of the amenities require approval from the POA office in advance plus when we went to office it looked vacant. This is just a hassle. Also the day after we left the property, the owner insisted we had a dog during our stay based on one clip from a video that was taken on our departure. She insisted to charge me a pet fee. This supposed dog is a stuffed animal lol. After repeatedly explaining that the stuffed animal is not a dog she still tried to charge me a pet fee. Beware of the property owner because she is not forthcoming about the amenities and some of thise amenities cost and additional fee and she will try and bill you for services after you leave the property.

I also expect renters to be honest about having a pet & paying the pet fee. I have you on camera with a living, moving dog in your carrier. As far as amenities goes, I sent you the QR code for them & told you some may require a small fee. The amenities are spread out in neighborhood & you never reached out with any concerns."

• Perfect Getaway

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bluebird Cottage. Everything was well appointed and kept in great condition. They even thought of the necessities for our sweet pup. 🐶

  While it was only my husband and I on this trip, this property would be ideal for families traveling together.

• Great location!

  Bluebird Cottage was perfect for our family. We have 2 teenage girls and had plenty of room. It is a short drive to Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain! The cottage was clean and cute! Great communication from the host. We will visit again!
