• Great downtown access!

  Very nice accommodations. Fridge needs updating, uneven coldness. Good mattress. Listing states there is a drip coffee pot, but it had been upgraded to a Kuerig! Had ample parking, but our assigned spot was a little small for a large truck. Really great location, would definitely stay again!

  Beautiful Town

  I ( female) took my grandon to camp . Walking distance to downtown 9 blocks.

  1 bedroom king size bed, one foldout couch, living rm.

  That works! Well almost.

  The king had bedding, but the foldout couch only had a bottom sheet, no top sheet or other blanket. Had 1 extra pillow but 4 pillow cases.

  Place very clean.

  Great location

  Good recommendations for food and adult beverages.

  MJ's still my favorite!

  Lock on door a little tricky but you'll get it .

• New Bern is better than Savannah.

  We went to New Bern for our anniversary and didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as we did. We’ve been to Savannah more times than I can remember and New Bern is way better. Lots of historical things to see. The property we stayed at was really clean and close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

• Great location, entry and exit a little complicated!

  The accommodations were as described. House is old, cute, and in a great location to walk to Tryon Palace and the restaurants and breweries on that end of town. Getting into the house and apartment is a little complicated... There is a lockbock on the front door that is kind of finicky, and once you retrieve your key from the lockbox, there are 2 additional locks you have to unlock/lock to get into/out of the living space. Also, and this may not be an issue for most people, but I found the internet access to be very slow. This is a common complaint in older homes with plaster walls, and for most people would probably be fine. I mention it because I had planned to work remotely from there and I found the internet connection to simply be too slow to be workable.

  My wife, daughter( 8 months) and I had the opportunity to stay at this VRBO. While an older home, it was well kept and had everything we needed. It’s only a few blocks from downtown and we could easily get everywhere on foot, you can literally throw a baseball and hit Tryon Palace. I highly recommend this property.
