From the owner: "Dear Laura,
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our convenient location near shops, historical tours, and the waterfront. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and we hope to welcome you back soon for another wonderful experience."
Charming historic home in downtown New Bern - perfect walking distance to heart of downtown and practically across the street from Tryon Palace. We stayed in the downstairs unit which has a lovely back porch, great little patio and plenty of off street parking. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond when I had a question about the keys. Would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town.

I rented the first floor of the house. The house and location were ideal. I enjoyed the back porch and patio. I liked that I could park in the back and not need to park on the street. The house is not in the center of town but it is an easy walk into town.

Great location within walking distance of everything. Coffee shops right around the corner for a relaxing morning or brunch.
The house is a shared unit. You only have access to your unit, the first floor, but the other unit mentioned in the listing is upstairs. You might hear them walking around or the tv through the walls. Overall if the other renter is quiet, no problem and worth a short visit
