• Fireplace doesn't work

  A cabin without a fireplace just isn't the same. It has one but it doesn't work. I called the given number and the guy told me it hasn't worked for over a year.

  My girl and I were very disappointed over this!

  Owner's response: Dean, We work hard to provide a clean and comfortable home for all our guests to be able to enjoy, rest and relax.
  
  - The fireplace works great when you understand the directions on how to get it started. We provide very specific instructions in our welcome book they include a step-by-step process. When you called you were not told it hadn't worked for over a year they told you it had not been started this season because it hadn't been cold enough. We're sorry you misunderstood this.
  - We were very disappointed in the way you treated our home, you did not clean up after your pets and left several things in disarray costing us additional fees for an additional deep cleaning. We only ask that our guests treat our home with respect and leave it the way they found it.
  
  We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver for the 5-star experiences we are known for.

  Nice and peaceful stay in the mountains. Only issues to note is the dishwasher did not clean the dishes very well and there were several wasp nests around the porch that gave us a not so warm welcome.

We will review the dishwasher, it has multiple settings and we will ensure it cleans as expected. The wasps are certainly not friendly, but keep coming back seasonally… they also like the peaceful atmosphere, we will ensure we move them on if they do not pay their fair share."

  Property was well maintained, nice decorative touches for the holidays. Also, easiest check out procedure I’ve ever encountered. So many properties make you go through a large checklist of things before check out, but this was simple and quick, so I appreciated that aspect very much. Would recommend.
