5/5 Great place. fantastic location. You come down the hill and bam there’s town. But when you’re at the house you feel like you’re miles away. Very quiet beautiful home.

Folk School Getaway
5/5 Hummingbird House was the perfect landing pad for us while we attended classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School. The home was so charming and clean, with very easy check-in and check-out instructions and good communication with the host. It is also a very short drive to Downtown Murphy and the Folk School. It was perfect for us and we would absolutely stay again in the future!

5/5 The pictures truly didn’t do this place justice—what a hidden gem! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm. The hand-painted murals added such a unique and artistic touch. The setting was so peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to town. We spent our evenings soaking in the amazing hot tub, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It was the perfect mix of serenity and convenience. Can’t wait to come back!

5/5 Our stay was perfect!! The location was an excellent combination with mountain surroundings but only minutes from town. The property was so well appointed and meticulously decorated it’s evident that the hosts care about the visitor experience. We truly enjoyed our stay!!
