I really enjoyed this property. Some of the things I really liked about were the large porch, the comfortable bed, the privacy (it is literally at the end of the road) and the small fenced area so that you can spend time outside with your dog and not have to have it on a leash (please don't leave your pet unattended in the woods). Also, while I only stayed here with my husband, I think that this cabin has a really nice floor plan that could be split between two couples. The couple using the second bedroom (queen) and hall bathroom would have privacy from the couple in the master en suite (king), because it is down a little hallway that the other couple would not have to go down unless they needed to get to the laundry, which is at the end of that hallway, and unlike other small cabins, there is enough living room furniture for two couples to sit comfortably. I also thought that the kitchen was as well stocked as any rental cabin; I made two dinners here. Regarding the road, well before you get to the cabin, there is a short (50 foot) area that is a 12% grade but I'm not sure you would need 4 wheel drive, as some have suggested in prior reviews, though I wouldn't bring a low lying sports car up a gravel road in any case. It is quite bumpy, but if you go slow enough, that isn't a problem. And winter shouldn't make a difference because it's gravel so there's a lot more grip than a paved road. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. The drive up was a little scary the first time but ok after.
