  6 longtime friends take an annual mid-October fall trip every year. A 9 hr drive for most of us and still ..Crisp Mountain Murphy, NC, is one of our favorite destinations. We do a whole lot of relaxing, cooking, eating, hanging out and nothing at all productive. We spent almost all of our time on the deck or enjoying the fire pit, morning till night. This home is spacious inside and out. Everything you need - kitchen, bathrooms, bedding is provided, and excellent quality. Beautiful views every direction and lots of deer activity to enjoy in the side 'yard'.

• 2023 Pretentious Cabin Stay

  Did not get off to a good start. The owner tried to back out of the rental less than 6 hours before the start of our trip, even after repeatedly guarantees we are adults. He also got EVOLVE involved to require proof of age. We are all over 55 fyi.

  Shortly after arrival and with 4 cameras on the property the the emails started. We came here to disconnect, but found ourselves under constant surveillance.

  We stayed at this cabin before under a different owner and had no issues. Current owner ruined the experience with his apprehensive nature.

  I contacted EVOLVE to see if there were any complaints lodged, and there were, but when asked for proof he could not provide any.

  -In accordance with our check-in procedures, we kindly request that guests present a valid ID at the time of arrival. It is important that the name on the ID matches that of the primary guest, as this is essential for the verification of identity and age.
  -As for parking accommodations, our listing typically provides space for up to two vehicles. We aim to ensure a convenient and comfortable experience for our guests. However, during this particular stay, our guests arrived with two large trailers, two substantial trucks, and seven motorcycles. We were delighted to make the necessary accommodations to meet their specific requirements, and it seemed to work well for them.
  -Our security cameras are installed for safety and security reasons. It's important to note that we don't actively monitor these cameras regularly. We occasionally check them to ensure our guests have easy access to the cabin and that there are no issues.
  -It is crucial to underscore that our property is designated as a non-smoking cabin, as explicitly stated in the listing. We did address a smoking concern with a guest, advising them to smoke away from the cabin, particularly near the fire pit, which is a significant distance from the cabin.
  -We also cooperated with Evolve when they requested an additional guest beyond the standard limit of six, reaching a reasonable cost agreement.
  -We take pride in offering a beautiful, safe, and secure cabin for our guests, as reflected in our consistently excellent ratings. We made sure to fulfill all the guest's requests, and we're not entirely clear on their specific concerns. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we're here to address any uncertainties or issues you may have.
