This was our third time staying at Apple on the Hill and, if it works the way we want, it will always be our home away from home. We have family in Mars Hill, and this home (and its owners and Evolve) are wonderful! Mars Hill is a special little town, and you can walk to all of the restaurants and the college from this home. We actually had about 3” of snow on our visit, which was gorgeous! It melted the next day, so there were no issues on the roads. The sisters who now own the home honor their grandparent’s legacy in such a special way. The beds are comfortable. The Wifi is good. The yard (over an acre) is beautiful. They always have snacks and water for you, which are wonderful for late arrivals. And - you feel like a part of the family when you return! We love Apple on the Hill and can’t wait to return!
This place was so cute. It was super clean and I loved how the historical parts of the house remained while making it modern at the same time. It had everything that we needed for the stay. The bathroom is a bit small, but no problem for a vacation stay. The beds were comfortable and although it was very cold while we were there, the house was toasty. I hope that it will be available when we are back in Mars Hill again.

The property was clean and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. It’s a short walk to town and coffee shop. It’s a nice small town and it was beautiful in the Fall. The host was very helpful and communicative regarding the area and how it was affected by the hurricane. Would definitely stay again.
