When we arrived for our stay on Friday night around 11 pm with three kids in the car, the neighborhood was not well lit. We tried to pull up onto the very short, steeply sloped driveway only to find it was covered in ice and snow. With half of us exiting the car, our huge SUV started sliding down the driveway into the road, obviously a very dangerous situation! We had to get into the house, ascending two flights of stairs that were completely iced over and unsafe, open the garage, find a shovel, and clear the driveway ourselves. As a mom, I was pretty irate over the fact that my children’s lives were endangered like that. This was a booking we had made months in advance. They knew we were arriving Friday evening, and yet the driveway and two story steps leading into the house were not prepared for our safety. Upon contacting the homeowners, they were very apologetic. Apparently the homeowners are not local and the caretaker they employ did not do their job. As compensation, they gave us a late checkout on Monday, as we were just there for the weekend. The house itself is extremely well kept, well stocked, and cozy. Beds are comfortable. My husband slept in the downstairs en suite bedroom so that our 11 year old sleeping on the trundle wouldn’t be alone in the basement. I slept in the master upstairs on the level with our other two kids in the bunk room. Big laundry room. All that’s missing is a grill!

House is awesome! Very spacious and modern. Kids loved the foosball table and ping pong. Amazing views! Got to see some elk walk through. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Just wish we had a grill to use and the fireplaces working. Overall, this was an excellent stay, and would stay here again

Property was very nice. Fireplaces did not work so heat was not adequate downstairs. I was given the incorrect code to get into the house so we were in the rain and cold trying to get in for about 30 minutes. Called the number to reach someone and sent an email with no response. Finally able to find another number and reached someone immediately and they gave us the correct code. Other than the issues mentioned, house was roomy and very nice.

This house was just perfection. It has everything you could need. Lots of space. A kitchen that has EVERYTHING you could need to cook practically any meal. The view was spectacular since it was at the top of the hill within the community. The driveway is a bit steep, but nothing crazy. The roads to get to the place we're also easy and not scary and steep mountain roads like some other properties. It was the best vacation home me and my family have ever stayed in. The only issue we had was that the washer was not working properly. I called and left a message about it. Since it was the week of Thanksgiving, I figured they wouldn't be able to send anyone to fix it. Luckily, our friends were staying in the same community, so we were able to wash some laundry there.
