"Tree House" on top of the Mountain
5/5 Quite an enjoyable stay at this somewhat oddly designed house on top of a hill overlooking the Highlands. The driveway is well hidden (and steep) so make sure to watch closely for the house number on a large tree. But once up the driveway, it expands into an area for 4 cars. Kitchen/Bathrooms are all modern and nice. Wrap around decks give it its Treehouse name, and on the top floor you can see over the trees and the surrounding area. Location is perfect- less than 0.5 mile from downtown, and there was always plenty of parking even on a late June weekend. Bruce (contact host) was awesome and great communication.

Stay in the Highlands
4/5 Overall our experience was good. Highlands, NC is beautiful. Great hiking and waterfalls. Main town shops and restaurants are very nice but expensive. Be aware of times, many restaurants close by 9pm. Our stay was good, house could use some refreshing and updates.

Treehouse Getaway
5/5 Loved staying in this house. My kids especially loved the top floor. Because of how tall it is and the porches, it felt a bit like a tree house. Private, cozy, perfect location.
