5/5 Lovely home layout with comfort throughout. Very clean with many amenities. So much to do at the nearby Oak Hollow Marina and Oak Hollow Golf Course. Perfect for our High Point graduation 5 minutes away. We hope to get back someday!

3/5 We appreciated the host’s flexibility in allowing us to check in early — that was a big help. The house had plenty of space for our four families and young children, which was a highlight of the stay.
However, the property overall didn’t match the photos and could use some updates and maintenance. The cleanliness upon arrival was disappointing. We had to clean the bathtubs ourselves due to bugs and debris, and found dog treats and cough drop wrappers under one of the beds — not ideal with crawling toddlers. There was also visible black mold on a closet door in the second-floor bedroom, which was concerning.
The outdoor space was one of the reasons we booked this property, but unfortunately it wasn’t safe or usable for the kids. There was poison ivy/oak near the fire pit, and we saw several large black snakes under leaf piles, so the yard went unused. The grill only half worked and the patio furniture was extremely dirty and moldy. The sofa bed was broken, the basement was cold, and there was glass left around the fire pit area.
Overall, while we appreciated the space and the early check-in, the home needs better cleaning and upkeep to match the listing and be safe and comfortable for families with young children.
