I’m not one to leave a negative review, so I’ll start this out saying that the place was SO cute and in a great location. BUT I’m from Florida, so I’m no stranger to old houses and humidity but this place was so poorly ventilated that it stayed wet the whole time we were there. We went to Walmart & replaced the shower liner for $3 because it was covered in dark mold spots. The bed linens and towels were all damp & stayed that way even after drying them because it was so muggy in there that even the clothes in our suitcase got damp. Our books we brought got ruined and the pages turned wavy like we had taken them to the beach. If snacks were left open even for 30 minutes they got soggy. We spent a lot of money to stay here for a week and it was just really frustrating to have this kind of issue. We all felt sick from day 2 of being there and were sniffling and having itchy throats when we were in the property but as soon as we left during the day we felt better so there’s definitely some issues with this house that need to be addressed. Also the front door stuck so hard because of how humid it was that we had to hip check it to get inside and slam it aggressively to get it to close and lock properly. We loved the look of the place, the decor and and the location were great, but they need to put some preventative measures in place to tackle the humidity and mold.
From the owner: "Thank you for your feedback on your stay. We strive to make guests feel welcomed and safe. We will be contacting a specialist to follow up on what appears to be a humidity issue."
Such a serene place to stay! So charming.

The outside was over grown as it could possibly be and me stay there If it’s pet friendly my dog would not go outside - weeds & grass were grown over the grill , the porch , the walkway , the driveway , and was a definite no to grilling outside - too snakey .I complained - but to no avail Loved the inside !Loved it - beds comfy , kitchen clean and everything we needed Great shower - 5 star Inside - 5 star Outside - as stated above - a MESS

From the Owner: "Thank you for your feedback, and I sincerely apologize for the overgrown lawn during your stay. Unfortunately, due to recent heavy rain and the temporary illness of our lawn care provider, we experienced a delay in regular maintenance. I completely understand how this could have impacted your experience, and I’m truly sorry.
The issue has since been fully resolved, and we’ve taken steps to ensure the yard remains well-kept moving forward. I appreciate you bringing it to our attention, and thank you again for staying with us."
