  This was my first time at Emerald Isle. The weather was perfect. The unit that we stayed at was cozy and comfortable. The deck behind the unit had an excellent view of the ocean. The walk to the beach was very short. Great week.

  Very nice house. Plenty of salt and pepper. Beautiful views. Easy to get to. ( If using the GPS and it tells you to turn on 1st Street, turn on 2nd street. I never found 1st street ) The host was wonderful, very nice. Would like to stay there again sometime.

• Lovely location, run down property

  We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle and the location of the property with respect to the beach is unbeatable! Love the access!

  The property itself is run down - an open door to roaches of which we saw many (rental agency did send someone to spray in our final days of our stay), wood paneling rotting off the walls, peel and stick backsplash falling off, mildew smell in carpeted bedroom, etc. Beds were comfortable, and we slept well. Rental agency was responsive to concerns. We wouldn't recommend tweed fabric for a beach sofa in a pet friendly dwelling though- just felt less than clean.

  Overall, not a bad stay. We’ll definitely be back for more Emerald Isle and even Evolve rentals, though not likely to this specific location!

  -We sincerely regret that the guest experienced any inconvenience. Unfortunately, the property sustained roof damage from a hurricane earlier this summer. While we were able to promptly repair the roof and doors, the paneling requires more extensive work. Due to consecutive bookings, we were unable to complete those repairs in time.
  -The summer season brings significant wear and tear to beachfront properties due to weather and guest turnover. With this being our last booking until November, we are fully committed to making the necessary repairs and ensuring the property is in top condition for future guests.
