My 3 lady friends and I stayed in this cabin 3 miles from the trail head of Mt. Mitchell. We had a beautiful view of the forest from the deck. Cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. Everything was spotless and well supplied with all that we needed. Unfortunately, we had rain every day and then Hurricane Helene was forecast for the area. We cut our stay short by one day because of the rising river. The owner was very responsive to all our needs and we got a callback within a few minutes if he didn't immediately answer. We would definitely stay there again in the future as well as recommend it to others that were looking for a stay in the mountains.

Grew up staying in the community where this house is so I knew what to expect as far as surroundings. This used to be a timeshare community. The chalet’s are now privately owned and a few are rented. The communication with the owner was terrific, the place was clean and organized with plenty of supplies. The clubhouse was open for a few games of pool as well. We had no issues at all and will be returning in the future.

My husband and I stayed for a week for some hiking and relaxation. The cabin is clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a quiet week away. Solid kitchen, nice beds, lovely common spaces. Very close to plenty of amazing hikes.
We love riding motorcycles and ride the the Parkway and all of the surrounding area routes 6-8 times a year. As a rider and Vrbo-er the bed make the stay. After 4-6 hours of hard riding I'm pretty beat. So a good bed for a good night sleep will get you going the next day. This stay was very clean, very quiet, and affordable.
