    This is our second time staying in Marianne’s amazing home for our anniversary! Exactly how we remembered it: beautiful, peaceful, clean and felt like “home”! The River was crystal clear and the stars were spectacular! We both were able to witness the most majestic, slow moving shooting star in the night sky like we’ve never seen before (even better than night skies in CA, CO, MT, or WY). We want to live here forever! Marianne, thank you so much for helping to make our time together so very special! You truly are precious and we just adore YOU and your incredible property! Hope to visit again very soon!

    This property is by far one of the best vacation rentals we have EVER stayed at. Location is perfect. House is gorgeous (and so VERY clean) down to every meticulous detail with tons of sweet little additions like organic coffee, tea, honey sticks, etc. The owner, Marianne, is absolutely precious! So very helpful! We had a blast and enjoyed every single moment! We can’t wait to come back (next time for a couple getaway) 😉🥰❤️

  • Fabulous Anniversary Weekend at this Cane River Retreat

    We had such fun at this perfectly appointed getaway. Thoughtfully designed, my husband and I watched nature from the comfortable screened porch. Did a little fishing, walked the trails. Enjoyed visiting the local towns especially the flame workers in Burnsville. About 40ish minutes to Asheville to see the city.

    The sleeping quarters were So comfy. Best sleep in ages.

    Anyway, we highly recommend this beautiful place and do plan to return.
