  Lovely, well appointed, spotless apartment. It needs to be advertised for young, functional people who own a boat and/or love to swim and watch TV. It is not for movement challenged people who cannot walk steps, want to walk or look at wildflowers. We were the wrong people for the rental.

We’re so glad to hear you found the apartment lovely, well-appointed, and spotless, and we also appreciate you letting us know how we can improve for future guests. The owner shared that the guest house access is up one flight of stairs, and they did offer for you to park in the main house driveway and cross over the bridge to avoid them. They always do their best to accommodate guests with health or mobility challenges, and had they known earlier that the stairs would be a concern, they would have made arrangements right away.

  Moving to the area and wanted something more than ‘a hotel again!’ Anniversary trip, too. Beautiful time of year and it was super special to enjoy the season in such a peaceful, serene setting. Well appointed space.

  Fishing anniversary trip, stayed a week, drive to property was interesting to say the least, tight twisty road hauling a boat tested one driving skills. Garage loft and stairs getting to it wasn’t the ideal set up and the boat dock descent was ok but after a full day fishing the climb back up wasn’t enjoyed

• Get away to the mountains

  Serenity was in a great location that was a short drive to all the places we wanted to explore. Beautiful views, access to the dock with kayaks and a paddle board was a plus and it was great for swimming too. The kitchen had everything we needed, the apartment was clean and decorated nicely. The only downfall for us was the road to get there was very steep and twisty. Not all of our passengers faired well coming and going. Communication with the property manager was easy. Highly recommend!

• Nice small place w good view of Fontana Lake

  It was a very quick trip to Bryson City for our anniversary plus an opportunity to see the area. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Plenty of things to do if you have time. Fire pit, games, just relax and enjoy the beautiful sunrise. About 20 minutes from downtown BC and about the same to NOC. Definitely check it out!!
