Amazing Stay
5/5 Living and vacationing in cities does not prepare you for the peace of mind and joy that comes from staying at Settler’s Mountain. This is the kind of place that will draw you back for more. The rentals are prepared for a very comfortable stay and I’ll definitely find my way back with more family to share this paradise with.
Excellent stay
5/5 We had an excellent stay over the 4th of July weekend. Location is very close to pop into Bryson City and quickly get down to Nantahala for rafting, while also being convenient to the National Park. Cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. Beautiful sunsets from the porch!

Sunset Cabin

Perfectly Perfect
5/5 I and my nephew, and his wife and daughter stayed at the Sunset cabin and it was a perfect "home" base for outdoor adventure -- close to Bryson City and the Nantahala gorge.
The cabin is well maintained and clean as a whistle. It was well-appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen and bath. The furnishings were comfortable and the owners supplied ample towels, linens, pillows and blankets.
Situated on a mountainside, the cabin has plenty of privacy and breath-taking views of the smokies. The sunset was spectacular, but so was watching the morning mist rise off the mountains. You have never seen such a profusion and variety of birds visiting the front porch feeders.
There are six houses on the Settler's Mountain property, with most built by the Kraft family and lovingly tended over the years. The landscaping alone beats any rental property in the area.
This cabin exceeded our expectations.

Fun at The Sunset
5/5 My son and his 2 kids joined me at beautiful Settlers Mountain for a 3 night stay. The cabin was clean and the space was comfortable. I enjoyed waking up and looking out at the humming birds on the feeder. Having a cup of coffee on the front porch before everyone else got up was very relaxing. We all looked forward to the evening sunsets . The kids loved the rec room and taking walks on the lovelyproperty. I will be going back.
